Itinerary

Day 1
 
7:00  - Pick up from hotel in Bangkok.
 
9:00  - War Cemetery of allied Prisoners of War.
 
10:30 - Bridge over the River Kwai and train from the Bridge via a wooden viaduct passing over the limited space built along the mountain cliff to Krasae Cave station (app 1.5 hr).
 
12:00 - Krasae Cave use to be the Prisoners Of War camp during WW2.
 
12:45 - Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
 
13:45 - Hellfire Pass memorial museum and walk through the Death Railway cutting mountain.
 
15:15 - Check into Hin Tok River Camp use to be the Prisoners Of War camp during WW2.
 
18:30 - Dinner at Hin Tok River Camp.
 
Day 2
 
7:00  - Breakfast at Hin Tok River Camp.
 
8:00  - Leave Hin Tok River Camp to Sangkhlaburi.
10:30 - Take long tailed boat to Underwater Temple. Base of the temple will appear in dry season.
 
12:00 - Enjoy with elephant treks in the jungle (1.5 hr) and picnic lunch by the river then bamboo rafting paddle by yourself and 2 other peoples (1 hr).
 
15:30 - Check into P. Guesthouse.
 
18:30 - Dinner at P. Guesthouse.
 
Day 3
 
6:30  - Walk onto Mon Bridge the longest wooden bridge in Thailand at 850 meters.
 
8:00  - Breakfast at P. Guesthouse.
 
9:00  - Worship and make wishes to the Buddha at Wangwiwegaram. This temple was influenced by Burmese architecture.
 
10:30 - Arrive at Three Pagodas Pass boarder between Thailand and Burma where the Death Railway track ends.
 
11:00 - Leave Three Pagodas Pass.
 
12:30 - Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
 
13:30 - Thong Pha Phum market where mixture of culture and nation of Thai, Mon, Karen and Burmese.
 
15:00 - Entrance to Sai Yok National Park : barge passes 2 waterfalls and enjoy swimming in the river.
 
17:00 - Take long tailed boat from Resotel pier to check in at The Float House River Kwai.
18:30 - Dinner at The Float House River Kwai.
 
Day 4
 
7:00  - Breakfast at The Float House River Kwai.
8:30  - Leave The Float House River Kwai.
9:00  - Rock Valley private hot springs.
 
11:30 - Sai Yok Noi waterfall part of Death Railway.
 
12:15 - Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
 
13:30 - Arrive at Safari Park Open Zoo : take a bus to drive through and watch up close to variety of wild animals such as tigers, lions, bears, zebras, ostriches, flamingos etc. Also, hand feed giraffes.
14:15 - Leave Kanchanaburi for Bangkok.
 
17:45 - Arrive at hotel in Bangkok.
 
Things to bring : Please make sure to bring a change of clothes or swimsuits & towels. You will get wet on swimming in the river and playing under Sai Yok Yai waterfall in Sai Yok National Park.
